Nervous breakdown is a non-medical term used to describe the acute features of depression. Although there are many reasons which can cause it, nervous breakdown recovery is very much possible.

Recovering From a Nervous Breakdown

It has been noticed that people who suffer from physical, sexual, and emotional abuse take a longer time to recover when compared to people who have a mental breakdown due to trauma. Often, people recover to a large extent from the breakdown symptoms but take longer to completely recover from it. At the same time, they are vulnerable to depression and anxiety.
